How do football fans feel about Georgia being ranked preseason Number 1?

Georgia is ranked no 1 in the plls. I love Georgia, and Coach Richt is a gr8 coach. I feel like they deserve it, and wish them the best. Look out, Tebow--u r a good player, but there's a dude by the ame of Noshawn Mareno out there in Bulldog land. (I can't spell Mareno's first name lol)

Georgia should not be ranked preseason #1. Im sorry but Florida has the most powerful team in the country this year. Especially their offense. Even though I disagree with them being #1 it doesn't bother me that much because tebow and his gators will take care of their  bussiness on the field in Jacksonville when the season actually starts and are going to be national champs once again!

I think Georgia is as good as any team to be placed as #1 in the preseason polls. I think Georgia has a good enough team to win it all. But I wouldn't mind to see the preseason polls abolished and have the voters wait until after the forth week of the season to have the very first polls.

I'm sorry... but Florida is gonna win this year. Tebow will be back to back Heisman winner. and Percy Harvin will be up there. Listen to me, I am GUARANTEEING the Gators at least make it to the National championship game. And I would be willing to bet money that they win it all.

Georgia being ranked #1 puts a big bullseye on them as many really good teams will be shooting to knock them off that lofty pedestal.  They play arguably the toughest schedule in the college ranks playing on the road at South Carolina, Arizona State, LSU, and Auburn and have tough home games against Tennessee, Alabama, and their home state rival Georgia Tech to name a few, not to mention a team that they finally beat last year that many consider to be #1 in ther Florida Gators.  I say that they will at least lose a few games because of that schedule and if they do go undefeated, they deserve to be #1.

The higher Georgia is ranked, the more fans travel with the team and bring that good old Georgia spirit, fun and tourist dollars when they come to Kentucky, where lately it hasn't been the walkover of years past.

georgia has 18 returning starters and by far were the most dominate at the end of the season there rolling in hungry and ready with a good coach

I completely agree that Georgia looks like the best team this season. However, any team would have a tough time running the table with the Bulldogs brutal schedule in the rough and tumble SEC. I think they can do it though.
