How do fried worms taste?

They taste wormy, lol (sorry). They actually a bit crunchy, as if u r eating some kinds of chips. I never eaten them before but I asked around to my foreign colleagues this question before.

You need to bread them and deep fry them otherwise ,they'll be a slimy mess.Crunchy on the outside and deliciously juicy on the inside.

I am a former chef and have worked in Asia and been to Mexico and had many types, most are quite nice, some can be a bit of a challenge, but over all I have found them pleasant, stir fried or pan fried and seasoned like the crickets, grasshoppers and other ones, they are pure protein and not much else.

I had a taco in Mexico with them, and while drinking Tequila one night we down ours with a salt with the same worms as in Mezcal ground into it, in some culture bugs and worms are not seen as bad but as a food source there for the taking.
