Question:

How do get out of depression??????

I keep going back to depression and sometimes I feel okay but with depression I think what am I doing on this earth - I am no good for nobody.

  1. try to be optimistic,

    live healthy [exercises/yoga/sports],

    be out with ur friends & love ones.

    TRY TO HAVE FUN no matter how goofy or ridiculous it might be

    & lastly, surround urself with stuff that makes u feel GOOD inside.

    watch cartoons if you have to. ..don't be scared ;)

    then soon.. you'll forget about ur worries


  2. depression is caused by a chemical balance being disrupted in your brain. the people who get through depression fight for it. if you give up you will be depressed for a much longer time. once you realize that you are really worth it, you can overcome it. don't give up, dont think bad thoughts about yourself. keep your chin up when it seems to be falling down. everybody goes through it, you arent alone.

  3. we all feel that way at one time or another you relax i like you  you  can  always email me i need friends too i feel alone alot

  4. watch funny comedies/movies, surround yourself with happy, friendly people, go out and talk to someone about how your feeling and why, talk to anyone like even a church member or church people. you don't have to believe in what a person does but they can offer valuable insights into life that you may not have considered before. you can also join an exercise group or start running 5k's or doing something physical to release stress and lift your mood. How can you be no good for nobody, there are volunteers needed EVERYWHERE, even right down the road, they need people to help the elderly out with simple chores to building a porch, they need volunteers at soup kitchens, they need volunteer firemen, i mean come on, you can do something good for the earth but instead you chose to sit on your butt and mope.

  5. Just something I saw on TV the other day. It was a physicist and he said that you could totally change your body chemistry by just asking the question "Who is depressed?"  Over and over again. I took anti-depessants for five years. My life changed dramatically in those five years, but my medications didn't. The meds prevented me from seeing that I didn't need them anymore. Your life and situations change constantly. Never dwell on the here and now, it will change. Concentrate on the good things that happen to you.

  6. talk to someone you confide in, or a therapist, and take medication, theres pretty much no other way.

    and when you start to think, you have no purpose, as hard as it may be just remember you do! or else you wouldnt have been here.

  7. You just have to think positive. Even if you have to force yourself and make it a habit.  Tell yourself every morning "I am special or important or pretty or smart". I know that sounds stupid. You don't know what else is out there for you and if you are not here you will miss the chance to find out! And I am going to say it. God loves you!

  8. i think everyone is depressed sometimes try relaxing and plan your life take up good hobbies and do not try doing to much at one time enjoy thelittle things in life be good to anyone that are not having it easy be good to all living creatures enjoy down time time with good music and wine as long as wine does not bother you stay away from people that put you down try to be around happy people and helping anyone  not having it easy.
