  1. I have Titleist MB forged blades and just recently purchase a preowned set of Taylormade rac MB TP irons with a satin finish and some of the irons were scratched.  Not really out of the norm, but an eyesore since we're still in our honeymoon stage.  I bought a headlight refinishing kit from a big box outlet, that really worked for once bringing my headlights back to new.  You go through the sand paper they supply very quickly, but i had a few circular sheets leftover so I used the kit on my irons.
I was so sold on how it work miracles on my headlights, I thought maybe it would do the same for my new used irons, which are awesome by the way.  The kit comes with an attachment for a power drill, various high grit wet and dry sandpaper, foam sanding pad, buffing pad, and rubbing compound.  It worked pretty good, but for major dings and gouges you'll need a good file.  Use caution when using the file, once you roughen the surface the file will dig in pretty good.  After filing use the refinishing kit or various fine or high grit sandpaper at high speed and finish up with polish and wax.  It works, but the key here is to take your time.  I hope this helps.
