How do go phones work?

do i have to put my creadit card to use one on sighn any thing or do i have to go to the store and and talk to people to get it to work or can i go online and reedem a card with 25 dollars on it and do i have to pay money a mounth and or do i get a phone number on it

Prepaid mobile phones are the same thing as other mobile phones, except their method of billing. A Prepaid phone services when someone purchase credit to a phone service. No credit card, bank account Social security information or any sort of information is not required. You can buy it at many convenient stores. There is NO CONTRACT. You control your phone usage and payment because you purchase a certain amount of credit-either over the internet(Credit/Debit Card) or at a store(Cash or debit/credit card) in forms of cards with the numbered codes on it. Once you get the card, you can call the number on the back of the cart or go to the internet to refill your account with credit. When you get a phone for the first time, you might have to pay an initial one-time fees that around just $5.00.  There are usually 2 kinds of plans in a go-phone. The first one is that you can pay $1 a day and your per minute charge for a call will be $0.10 and the other option is that without paying any daily fees, your call will be charged as $0.15. But the plans vary by the phone service provider. Also note that you can get a new phone number when you buy a go-phone or you can use your old number. To use your old number, you would have to call the customer service number that is located in the booklet when you buy the product. The phones that are sold with these prepaid phone contracts start with normal phones for free with the purchase but you can get a very nice cell phone for $50-$100.

a go-phone is just another name for pre-paid cell phones! Cingular/ATT started the go-phone logo!!

you don't need a credit card nor a contract....just buy the pre-paid card at Target...go online and activate you cell phone...

Its a very confusing process. I would suggest you find someone who has AT&T and ask them to add you onto their plan as a "family plan"

Its only $9.99 per additional line every month.. you could pay them in advance for the entire year. Its much cheaper than going through that whole process of buying minutes every other week. trust me. then going OVER your minutes is even more of a pain.

My family of 3 uses the 550 minutes plan comfertably. :D

u can go to target and get a phone. you can also go online to get a

T-Mobile phone pay as u go and buy ur phone cards at any store.  i no if u go online u have to charge it as a pay method debit card is cool. i'm not sure about if u go into the store im sure u can pay with cash and buy yhe phone
