How do guys wear boxers under their bathing suits?

Wearing boxers under your bathing suit is the "cool thing to do," and I'm interested. But I want to know how they do it, because all the bathing suits out today have the mesh inside for support. Do they cut the mesh out? Or do they wear the boxers with the mesh?

It is NOT the cool thing to do. The mesh lining will take care of you. Do not cut the mesh out.

wearing boxers under your swimwear  may be cool, but I would think that wet boxers would bo pretty uncomfortable. there is no reason to wear underwear under your swimwear, just because its cool, I wouldn't do it.

All your guy friends are idiots.  There's absolutely no reason to do this.

Either your friends are wearing short suits that show the boxers, in which case they should probably be wearing a bra too, or they're wearing suits long enough to hide the boxers, in which case what's the point of wearing the boxers at all?
