  1. Except for a gallon or ten that is temporarily floating around in space (space station) every single drop of water that ever was on planet earth is still on planet earth!

  2. We have destroyed 50 percent of the wet land, 50 percent of the grass lands, large parts of the rain forest and collect rain water in dams.

  3. with the chemicals that we left in the waters, with the fishing activities to sell fish to oriental countries, and of course our things.

  4. Well, obviously negatively because we have, like the person before me said, we've used up more than half of the fresh water in the world already, forever dwindling in it's amount.

Also, humans have polluted the water in many freshwater lakes, ponds, streams etc. Which effects the water cycle because then, what evaporates, will rain down essentially as acid rain, which is not clean water and it effects the wildlife that drink it - including us humans!
