  1. equation does not make sense, where did you get it and what do you think it means?

    dimensionally,  you have units of C/C or no units, added to units of C(farad) set equal to V (volts) so it badly fails dimensional analysis.

  2. I think you mean C1 / [C1 + C2], but in order to derive the equation you would have to say what the equation is for or show some kind of circuit diagram.
