  1. You will get a letter telling you.


  2. Were you entitled to a refund? Did you get it? Did you get all that you were expecting to get?

    If the answer to all the above is yes, then your taxes were not offset.

  3. Call 1-800-304-3107 to find out.

  4. do you owe any government loans, IRS, or student loans that you have defaulted?

    if you do then more than likely your refund/rebate were offset.
