How do i OC a Abit IP35 Pro w/Q6600 to 3.2 Ghz?

Hi i just recently got a new computer that has an Abit IP35 Pro motherboard with a Quad core q6600 4GB(RAM) PC2-8500 and a Inno3D nVIDIA Geforce 9600GT 512MB DDR3 video card.

I'm not sure how to overclock but would like to learn so bare with me when i ask how to OC this system to about 3.2 Ghz stable?

  1. basically you enter the BIOS and slowly turn the FSB speed up testing it with each step by booting into windows. your motherboard might have a OC feature built in i know ASUS boards do. when you get to the point where it won't boot up you are past stable and need to unplug the power cable for a few to allow the BIOS settings to reset then you can just set the FSB to a speed that did work
