How do i Remove the door Pannel On A 1985 Buick LeSabre Custom Disel 5.7 car.

Well I need to take the door pannel off to check out the window on the drivers side and i dont want to break anythin becauase it could be a pain to find another door pannel. So any diagrams or detailed intructions would be nice.

you need basic hand tools, mainly, a s***w driver for taking out screws...

then you need a thing that looks kinda forked, it is for taking the plastic rivet style holders loose while not breaking them...you can get that tool at any half *ss parts store...

you can use a big screwdriver to pop those plasticthings off too, but youll probably break a few as u go..yo ucan get replacement plastic rivet things from the same parts store in the HELP aisle

what u gonna do when u get in there?  replacing a window motor can be a PIA if its the kind with a plastic strip that goes in and out....good luck!

It's really not as hard as you might think it is to remove the door panel. On most cars there's two screws in the arm rest that needs to be removed and could be a few at the bottom of the panel.( Could be) Where the door handle is might be a cover that has a s***w in it that needs to be removed, Now start at the bottom of the door panel with a s***w driveBy putting it between the door & the panel pry up with a quick jerk and the door panel should pop aloose at the bottom, just work your way up the panel, once your have the panel loose all but the top of it ,then pull up & wiggle it and it should come off.The thing's that holded the panel into place are made of plastric ,yhey just pop into some hole's .You can get them at any auto parts store if needed.
