How do i acquire a London PR?

Greetings i am from Singapore. i would love to know how i can land myself in London. Plus what are the actions needed to be accepted as a London PR. due end of 2008 i will finish my Bachelor and have plan to be in london then. it is my goal to be there before 2010. but goals without action are only dreams. i have taken my first step by asking you all out there. the next step is searching and rationalizing the options you folks provide me with. i would be glad if you have any (links) attach for me to browse through. if anyone has a similar experience and already attained his/her goal please email me.
