How do i add a PW to my BB pearl 8110?

i want to be able to have a password so that no one can get into my phone. i dont want to just use the key pad lock i wnat to actually put in a code in order for it to be used in any way.

plese explain step by step

  1. In order to password protect your BlackBerry go to Options > Security Options > General Settings. Set the Password option to Enabled, then save the changes. After saving the changes you will be prompted to enter in your password.
