How do i add an avatar to my profile picture?

I have done several things (360),etc. nothing has worked, Can the answers team please help me? It would be very much appreciate it. Thank you so very much. A frustrated Walter C.

Your avatar Yahoo Answers can be a cartoon figure or a photo that you supply.

If you want the cartoon figure then go to http://avatars.yahoo.com and create or modify one.

If you would rather have a photo then first locate one on your computer. If it is online then download it.

Create a Yahoo 360 account if you don't have one. You can get one at http://360.yahoo.com .

Click on the "My Page" tab and then "Edit Personal Photos".

You are allowed to put four pictures there by following the instructions.

Mark the one you want to use as primary.

NOTE: You must be 18 or older to have a 360 account.

Now for either a cartoon or a picture save everything and go back to Yahoo Answers.

Click on your old avatar in Yahoo Answers which brings you to your profile. Now go to "Edit My Info". You can pick the cartoon or picture there to use.

u can make / edit / change / customize ur avatar's appearance by changing its face, eyes, hairstyle & clothing just click here: http://avatars.yahoo.com/

You need to first click on ''perferences''

To select the male or female

The just start customizing it.

Save all changes

Click on the mail link at the top of the page. Sounds crazy but do it.

Then back to your Q&A

Click ''edit my info''

And click to use your avatar.

Preview and click OK

This may take a little time to show up, some waited as long as a few days.That is because the system is running slow.

On a 360''my page''

Click on ''edit personal photo''

You can customize your avatar there or click to use it. set as primary and save.

This also may take a day or two to show.
