  1. If your computer doesn't have a card reader built in, you can get one for about $25. I prefer to use a card reader as that doesn't require hooking the camera to the computer.  My main camera is a rather larger Pentax digital SLR and hanging it on a cord to the computer is a hassle. This is even true with my other 2 cameras. The card reader is also good for reading cards from other peoples cameras that use the same kind of card.

  2. If you printer has a slot for your memory card, you could probably use that to read the card and upload the photos. You could also go to a store like Walgreens and have them loaded onto a CD that you could then copy to you computer. If you simply can't find the cord you can order one through Kodak. My niece had to order a new one after her dog chewed it to pieces. Good Luck!

  3. If your computer doesn't have a built in memory card reader, then the only other way is to buy a memory card reader. You could of course buy another USB cord too.

  4. Depends if you can use a Sdam memory or USB  flash memory.  But the simple way, is purchased a new cord.  To be certain of the cord, take the camera with to the store.

  5. Hey GoodGirl.... Great question and I bet other readers are wondering the same thing!!   So let's review the three ways that have been mentioned.

    1.  USB cord... which you don't have.

    2.   The comptuer's card reader.... some come already in the computer

    3.  An external card reader that you buy at an electronics store.

    4.   Take your card to a photo lab or Walgreens or CVS and have them burn your images to a CD... which you can then play & load on your computer.  I really like this way because you have the images protected on a disc in case you have a hard drive crash.

Perhaps my suggestion (last) can give you just one more option to consider.

    Thanks for reading.

  6. Some computers have a slot for camera memory cards as do some printers. You could always buy another cord.
