In the menu at the left side of your Group home page, one of the choices is "Invite." Click on it.  

How you're at the "invite" screen, where you may enter email addresses and names of people you want to invite to your group, and a brief message to them.  You can invite up to 50 addresses at a time. They will have the right to accept or decline this invitation.  

Near the bottom of this page is a tiny "Add Members."  Click it.

Now you're on the "Add Members" page.  Enter the email address and name (in the format shown) of the person you want to add to your group, and in the second box type your message to them.  They will be added to your group automatically, but they will receive an email giving them the option to opt out.  

You may add a total of 10 people to all of your groups in any 24-hour period.  Do not add people without getting their permission first, or you'll be in violation of Yahoo rules.
