  1. If you are talking about adding a play button for music in your BLAST, see http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-4D4zxsg6f... for instructions on finding music that other people have already uploaded to the Internet. If you want to add your own music, see here: http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-4D4zxsg6f... .

Otherwise, you can add music in your BLOG via using various services that provide widgets:

OTHER PEOPLE'S FILES (the faster, easier method):

Create a free account at Project Playlist (http://www.projectplaylist.com ), Seeqpod (http://www.seeqpod.com ), Last FM (http://www.last.fm/ ), Dizzler (http://dizzler.com ) or other similar service. They allow you to search for songs ALREADY UPLOADED to their site or other sites. Then, you simply add those songs to a playlist. Generate the code for the widget. You may have to delete some extraneous Javascript code (between Style tags). Choose the EMBED code that applies to any site. If that's not available, try a MySpace version of the code. Embed the player according to the instructions below:

    - Compose a new blog entry

    - Select the EMBED code you want to copy, then right-click to select "Copy."

    - Check the "View HTML Source" box, position your cursor and right-click to choose "Paste." Uncheck the box to get back to the regular blog screen.

WARNING: Do not save your entry with out adding some text. Also, there may be some slight delay in getting the audio to appear. If you refresh the page, it will probably show up.

    * This method allows you to make music play automatically and create lists of music that don't require the user to log into an external site. However, when people visit your main page, the music will not play. They have to go directly to your blog and the blog page on which that entry is located. With Imeem (and other sites), you have to be careful because some songs require people to log into their site to hear beyond 30 sec. snippets.

    * See example of this here:

    http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-4D4zxsg6f...

    YOUR FILES:

Create a free account at Imeem (http://imeem.com ), Esnips (http://esnips.com ), FIQL (http://www.fiql.com/ ) or other similar services to upload the MP3 files, generate the EMBED code, and then copy and paste the player's EMBED code in a blog entry. At imeem.com the code can be set to include "autoplay" if you check the box next to the EMBED code. So, you can create a "playlist" as well as "individual MP3 files" for use in your blog.

In the event that you want to use your music files, but they are in WMA or another format, I recommend installing and using the conversion program called Switch (http://www.nch.com.au/switch/  ) OR make sure that when you rip songs from a CD in Windows Media Player, that you choose the MP3 format.
