  1. You can't adjust it through settings. RAM is a piece of hardware. To increase the amount, you would purchase an additional stick. At about $30 a stick, I find it incredulous that you could have a legal copy of CS3 but not afford a RAM upgrade.

  2. You need to get a bigger memory stick

  3. You have to purchase and install RAM to get more of it.

  4. you need to buy RAM, RAM is a physical component, not a setting. You can get RAM -- Random Access Memory -- for about 20 - 50 bucks, depending on the quality of the piece and the amount you buy. You can put the ram in yourself, just make sure you buy a kind that you computer supports. You'll need either a manual, or to contact your computer's vendor to know what kinds/frequencies are compatible. Other than finding the right piece though it's pretty easy to plug into your machine's inside.

  5. same thing happened to me. You have to go to an electronics store, like Best Buy, and then buy another "memory block" or "stick" and string attaching it to the proccesor.

the memory block thing has to comply with your computor. Go look up what is compatible with your computer module.

or you can spend a bit more money and call in the Geek Squad to help you do it.

  6. Go to store, purchase more RAM of the correct type, install in PC.  If I need to go more into it then that, you shouldnt be using CS3 anyway.
