How do i adjust my velocity on my spyder xtra paintball gun?

its says the velocity is adjustable im new to paintball so how do i do it and how much fps will it go to?

  1. I have a Spyder Xtra also. There was an Allen wrench that came with your gun. Its shaped like a "L". You get that and use it to twist the hex slot at the top back part of the gun. You turn it to the right to increase the velocity and left to decrease it. But remember that the more you increase it then the faster your tank will run out and don't turn it to much because the maximum should be about 280-285 fps. Most guns come set at about 270 so dont crank it up to much.


  2. there is a hex bolt in the back, turn it in to increase and out to decrease, if you play at a field they will make you set your velocity to 300fps, and trust me anything above that will break paintballs, be inaccurate, and hurt like a *****!.

  3. Typically there is a hex slot in the back.

    Clockwise to increase.

    Counter Clockwise to decrease.

    Don't increase the velocity to above 300FPS.  The FPS can be calculated with a chronograph.
