How do i apply .desktop theme file to win XP?

i downloaded one theme. but its format is .desktop. my pc is asking for .theme file. any way on how to make it possible? thanks.

  1. I believe that is a DesktopX theme; a program that allows you to build your own themes. If you don't have desktopX, you'll have to look for theme files that end with .theme or .msstyle files extensions.
