  2. well i really like the N.Y.C liquid black eyeliner....it can be difficult (at first) to apply

the trick is...PRACTICE. first apply some mascara on the top and bottom lashes. Then just apply on the eye lid of your eye and make it as straight as possible..if its not perfect that's ok! Buy some black or dark gray shadow. Brush a small amount over the line....this just makes it look more even and not so "line-y"....keep doing so or reapply another line of eyeliner to fix anything.

The bottom eye liner part is a little tricky...just try to be as steady as possible.. u could also just use a pencil here if its easier.

Just buy what you need then keep practicing in the mirror. Try not to make it look like too much.

  3. There's no "correct" way to apply eyeliner.  There are only preferences.

I do my eyeliner differently depending on the occasion.

For most days I just do a thin line of either brown, black or raisin colored eyeliner on my top lid, then slightly smudge it with my pinky finger, and then smudge a little bit in the lower lid on the outer corners.

    Hope this helps

  4. what kind of eyeliner are you using? i prefer liquid, but that's just me. simply take the liner and draw a line right near the edges of the eye. it might take awhile to get it right but you'll get it! smudge it a little with your finger. it will make it look more natural.

to make your eyes look wider put some white eyeliner on the bottom of your eyelid and stay away from dark colors like black or brown.

  5. Ok. Since you're late on the makeup

do NAWT use liquid liner, it's hard to

put on for first timers. Use an eyeliner pencil.

    Let's Start:

First, Run the pencil above the upper lid and right

near the lash line. It's best to only line it directly

above where the lashes are growing. DO NAWT

draw a line near the corner of your eye.

Next, When you've accomplished the lining smudge

the line a little with a foam rubber smudger that may be

on one end of your liner. Smudging it softens some of the

harshness the line may have, in other words, you blend the

line in a little so it dosen't look like a distinct line. If you dont

have the smudger, use  a Q-tip.

Lastly, after you line and smudge, use a small pointy brush and run a coat of the dark eyeshadow over the eyeliner. Do this if the line looks like it stands out too much, it softens it and is a "must do" step for liquid liner.

all her other videos are great too. i learned a whole lot from watching her videos. hope you learn too. and its okay, i didn't start wearing makeup until i was 16 and a junior. good luck with the new school year!

  7. trace your lash line. simply. If you have lighter skin it would be best to stick with a brown or charcoal colored eye pencil because it isn't as harsh looking. but if you prefer black then thats cool too. its different for everybody. be careful with the line because if you don't do it smoothly, it will look rough on your eye. Pull at the corner of your eye with your free hand to make your eyelid more stiff. Also if you have the problem of your eyeliner breaking, try sticking it in the freezer. Once you get some experience, you'll be able to find what looks best. Everyone has different shaped eyes so not everyone does their eyeliner the same. I personally think its easier to start out with pencil rather than liquid but if you want to go with liquid, it would be a good idea to keep some q-tips handy to touch up anything you mess up. it works like a charm.

  8. start with eyeshadow or something. if you randomly decide to start wearing eyeliner it will be to noticable. ease urself into it...

or you could just do eyeliner from the start. just use the pencil kind and start right along the eyelash line as close as you can get. start in the center then work you way out making it thicker as you go along... then once ur done to make it look more natural smudge it a little bit with your finger. once you use pencil liner for a while u can try using liquid...

make up is really something you have to kind of experiment with and find out what u like most...

if u want cheap make up i recommend eyes lips face (e.l.f)...

its really cheap and good quality. you can also get make up tips from their website.
