How do i apply for finanacial aid for college?

well i cant afford college but i really wanna go and well i need the government aid where i dont have to pay them back but i dont know where to get the application from can anyone help?

You have to file a FAFSA at www.fafsa.ed.gov.  

Also, check with the financial aid office at the school or schools you are wanting to attend.   Some schools have a separate form you need to fill out, or you may have to fill out another form to be considered for state grants, but the financial aid office can tell you that.

By filing a FAFSA form, the government can determine which types of financial aid you are eligible. All you need are your parents tax income information (they will have to fill out their part of the FAFSA and sign it) and your own (that is if you have worked a job prior to the year you will be filing). Also, you will need to put on the FAFSA which school you plan on attending, in which your FAFSA will be sent so the school can determine your eligibility. Also, check with the financial aid department of the school you plan to attend to see what types of grants and scholarships are offered.
