How do i apply for garda clearance in uk. am irish worked the for 15 years and back in ireland last 6 years?

  1. I had to get a garda check(clearance) done from Australia so I could foster children.To get one,I had to get in contact with the local garda station where I was living.My sister in-law picked it up at the garda station when it was done and then she sent it to me.

It depends on what you need it for, in some cases only your employer can apply for garda clearance for you.  I think this is for childcare jobs.  Here are two links, I wasn't sure which you needed.  The first is information for Garda Clearance, Ireland.  The second is Police Clearance in the UK.

  4. Just put your ad everywhere where you can. Lots of polish people do this job without license and (sorry!) I never heard of that type of license... but all our street had been done by 4 polish workers last year(OK, it was 4 houses with very, very scary gardens)
