How do i ask my boss for a rise from 8.00 an hr. to 9 when ive only worked there for a week?

Unless you have a pretty good reason why you need 9 / hr, it's hard to get one. Specially when you've been there only a week.

My advice is to spend at least a month at your current salary level, put into your best, make sure the boss (or your supervisor notices), and then politely ask if you can get a raise.

You got to work hard, your boss has to see if your doing a good job, then maybe in a month he will raise your pay, it wont happen in a week, sorry, just try your best.
