Question:

How do i ask my brother inlaw?

um well he has my baseball cards that i was collecting since i was a little kid and my mom gave them to him because i told my mom he can have my baseballs cards besides the ones in the broken safe i had and she gave him the ones in the broken safe witch im pretty mad about because i was saving those cards how do i ask my brother inlaw nicely or in a good way on asking him for it back im pretty shy because i like bearly know him that well but hes really nice but what would be a good way to ask him should i sent my sister a text saying "does chris (thats his name) have my baseball cards that where in my broken safe and if so can i have them back cause ive been collecting those since i was a kid" what other way would be good? i just dony find it easy to talk to him and im really anoyed and i know its not something i can get over i have a bunch of other cards ill give him actually like 10 boxs of them i can give them no lie its just those cards i was really saving but please answer my question =[

  1. Explain to your mom what cards you meant he could have and you want certain ones back and she needs to tell him that.  


  2. Just be honest with him.  Explain it the same way you did here.  Any reasonable person would be happy to return them to you.  If it is too hard for you to say it face to face, send him a nicely worded E-Mail.

  3. Maybe you should ask your sister to tell ask him. Or maybe if you are at their house, be like, "Ohh..I was looking for my baseball cards that were in my Broken case...did my mother happen to give you those?" Something in those lines...

  4. You explain to him what you explained to us here and ask for them back. He should unselfishly hand them back over to you. If he does not then you go to your mother and ask her to attempt to correct her mistake.
