How do i ask my coach if i can switch positions??

He is very strict and probably won't let me. But right now i play defensive back and i hate the position and i want to play linebacker what should i say to himm?

  1. tell him you've played linebacker before (even if you havent played before) and tell him confidentally that you can play linebacker too.  DO NOT SOUND UNSURE IF YOUR NOT SURE IF YOU CAN PLAY.


  2. Be strong when you ask. don't mumble or studder and keep eye contact and be confident.

    just say, hey yo coach, do you think I can make it as linebacker?

    If he says no, say I disagree, all I need is a chance. If you still feel that way after 1 practice i won't bring it up again. but put me in at LB.

    I'll show you motor to the ball, I'll hustle better than that other guy

  3. Start playing like a linebacker instead of a db and maybe he'll notice your talent for lb.

  4. umm juss ask him the worst he can say is no but juss tell him the reasons y u wanna switch positions...and do it mane good luck man
