How do i ask my mom for pantie liners? hurry please!!?

well, i'm twelve, and i've been having that clear and white discharge. i want pantie liners.my mom and I are gong to the store tomorrow, and i want them. i know this part will prolly be Too much info. but, like, i hate the wet feeling in my undies all day at school, and like if im in class, i feel wet and its sooo annoying. im like OMG. GO AWAY! xD so it's un comfy. haha. yeah. i don't think my mom even knows what panyliners are... she doesn't wear any.. just a pad. so. help me please! i need to know soon!

I know what you mean, when I was 12 and started my period I didnt tell my mom for a couple days, but I also had older sisters that I took pads off of... but back to your question just talk to your mom, Im sure she knows what they are and has a reason as to why she doesnt have any, just explain whats going on or pick up a box at a store and stick them in the cart and not say anything unless asked.

Anyhow you don't need a parent's permission to buy feminine protection. Just go buy it. You can pick a female sales clerk if you are embarrassed, but really---half the people in the world have vaginas, and the other half know all about it.

i am almost twelve and i have that clear stuff too but i don't use them very often but i do use them

i felt the some way about asking my mom to get me a bra so the way i did it is that i just complained that my practice bras did not fit any more so she suggested i get a real bra so she got me one so just complain about wet undies and ya

I would recommend asking her about discharge first (it'll bring up the question), ask her if she has it, and no matter what her answer is, ask her if she will by pantiliners for you. If she holds off buying them for you, just roll up some toilet paper and place them on your underwear. Hope this helps.

I know how you feel.  :)  

I wear a liner EVERYDAY while I'm not on my period.  It sucks, but is MUCH better than that wetness.  I'm sure your mom knows what a liner is.  Just walk up, grab a box, and say, "Mom, I wanna use these,"  

I had to do that. haha.

okay...yeaaaaah your mom does know what they are pretty much every girl knows what those are...they are like pads but just really thin. and its not a big deal a lot of girls wear them...just ask her!

Maybe when your out tomorrow just pick up a box and say mom can i get these for my discharge cause its heavy and i feel really wet down there!

While you're at the store, grab a box, and say "Mom, can we get some of these?"  I can almost promise you that she will say sure and will not bug you about it.  She is probably too embarrassed to ask you if you need any so you need to make the first move.  Or you could go online to drugstore.com and order some but you would have to have a credit card.
