How do i ask my mom if i can use birth control?

im always in a bad mood, i break out anytime of the month not just during my period, i have really bad period symptoms and all that good sh*t and my older sister (shes 24) is on birth control and says it works wonders and life would be easier with it. i would use it correctly but i dont know how to ask my mom. im not very close to her and we never have like heart felt conversations so please dont tell me to tell her something thats cheesy lol. oh and im not going to have s*x thats NOT why i want to use birth control

tell her you talked to your sister about your problems and she said take birth control and you want to go to the doctors to talk to your doctor about starting birth control

Tell her your sick of putting up with all the side effects of periods and you know from your sister that it improves things, so can you go on it?

The worst she can do is say no.

Tell her that. Be prepared that she won't believe you. There are OTC meds that help with these problems without dosing yourself with artificial hormones too, and some great facial cleansers.

Thats what i want to go on it for. And i got my mom to call the doctors today. All you have to do is tell your mom exactly what you told us.

Go to Planned parenthood..You don't need to tell your mom. and if she finds out the you tell her why you did what you did.Since you are not close to her.

Actually, I am not sure if you know this or not, but if I was you and you trruly feel uncomfortable telling your mom you can go to your local planned parent hood and sign up since you are a minor for free. By law they can't tell your parents if you say they can't. You can find one near you at: http://www.plannedparenthood.org/

And just so you know, I it really does help, I was in the same boat as you when I was younger and still not having s*x.

Explain to her how you just explained it on here.. if its for the reason your saying there should be no reason your mom wouldnt be okay with it. You can also look it up on the internet so you'll have more information to tell her when you talk with her. Im sure if your open and honest about things towards your mom yalls relationship could grow and get stronger and she could trust you and next time it'll be alot easier to talk with her.

tell her exactly what you said, that you need it to help control your period and all of that. you dont need your mom to get birth control, you can go to the doctor yourself.
