How do i ask my parents for a purity ring?

My best friend and I really want purity rings,and not just because the jonas brothers have them, but were afraid our parents will think our friends are having s*x and they'll think that's why we want one or they will think we're already being tempted or something,which we're not.We just want one but we don't know how to ask our parents.

I think they'll probably just be proud that you want one, not upset that you're tempted.  obviously youre not having s*x if you want purity rings and so what if youre tempted?  thats part of having hormones, they'll be happy you arent acting on temptation.
