How do i attach a mouthguard to a helmet

i have a shock doctor mouthguard how do i attach it to a football helmet

ijust bought one an hour ago and ibearlie figured out how to put it on, you have to take the string out at the base, where it has the little spinny thing, just yank it out, and then wrap the string around it and pop the string back in at the base... it took me so long to figure out! lol
