How do i attract bats to a bat house?

we are getting a new bat house and have a creek plus small woods in the back how can we attract bats to it.

usually you don't have to.  It's weird, it's like they know its for them.

The bat house should have come with some bat p**p most do.If not try to find a old barn where bats live and get permission from the owner and collect some guano and put i little in your bat house and they will smell it and move in. Be sure to place the house on the north side of a tree where it is almost always in the shade or they won't stay."gets to hot in the sun" Good luck
