  1. Backing up personal files, photo's, audio's, video's, text notes, ie favourites folder ect ect.

Just insert a writable CD or DVD, goto to your personal files, right click on them and select copy to disk.

  2. You can backup files by going to  Control Panel >Backup and Restore Centre, click on back up  DVD RW using the E drive.

  3. هاااااااااااى

  4. This depend upon which version you have.

Business and Ultimate have built in back up programs.

  5. If you don't have Vista Ultimate or Business, create a mirror image of your drive - this backs up your programs and settings, not just your files; the following tools are free and work with Vista

    http://www.macrium.com/reflectfree.asp

    http://www.paragon-software.com/home/db-...

both let you create a recovery cd - in case of system failure, you can boot from this cd and restore a previously created backup image

  6. Control panel, under system and maintenance click back up your computer. Click back up files. On the drop down menu, choose  DVD RW Drive(F). Then click next, check Data (E:) and press next again. You will be prompted to choose which files you want backed up. Check them all, then press next. You will then be asked how often you want to do this and what time. Decide yourself and click save settings and start backup. Insert a blank DVD and you are ready to go. Have a spare DVD ready just in case you run out of space on the first one. Hope this helps

  7. Windows Complete PC Backup is available in the Business, Ultimate, and Enterprise editions, and performs a complete, image-based backup of the entire computer.

The file backup and restore features in Windows Vista make it easier for you to keep your data safe from user error, hardware failure, and other problems. The Windows Backup and Restore Center gives you one place to manage all backup and restore features.

Depending on the version of Windows Vista you have, there are two approaches you can take to backing up files: Automatic Backup, which backs up just your files and data; or Complete PC Backup, which backs up everything on your PC, including the operating system and applications.
