i have long black hair, snakebites, my septum pierced and soon to be bridge.

anyway, i decided recently to dress more goth, as opposed to what i used to wear (which varied greatly), but i want to have a glamorous sort of edge? like i don't know vampiress?

if anybody watches the mighty boosh, like ebola or anthrax in the nannageddon episode.

i'd like this to be a fiarly easy transformation as i go back to college in september.

all help appreciated!

thank you!

  1. Have a look at bands like Specimen. Or h**l, even David Bowie.

  2. Lolita maybe? Well if you wanna go more "pop", I think Rihanna is "trying" to be goth but she mix in some other styles. Also avril....but in my opinion  avril is really too "pop" - i liked her original style. I had a black "corset" style top with bit of black lace on the neckline and sides of the corset I felt really glam in it.

  3. Buy a coat like this one

  4. try fixing your black hair in messy romantic styles~ like loose french twists with braids woven in. wear pretty makeup but dark black-cherry lips. try combining edgy black clothes with pretty details like lace, tulle, or flower details. maybe add a few jewelry pieces that are black but still sweet and delicate like a big black flower ring or a sparkly spider pendant. those little additions will be your unique style still, but with an unexpected twist.

  5. Black or red lipstick

    White Face

    Black eye makeup

    Black boots & gloves

    Silver or black Jewelry

  6. dont wear all totally completly black things wear a little pink and your own sparkle touch!!!

  7. ignore them  the rude ones  i mean

uhm i think it be more glamorous if you

    just played up your eyes

but don't stick to like basic black

try black liquid eyeliner on your top lashes kinda

the like cat eye effect and you should try some bright shadows to make

your eyes stand out  and lots of mascara (:

  8. You can mix in a Victorian or an Old Hollywood glam into the goth style.  Corsets in beautiful satins and brocades with lovely colours can add to any black wardrobe.  Lace jewelry can also take away some of the roughness.  Also, spots of glittery colour, like in a trim, can add a very glamourous flair to any goth girl's ensemble.  Same with makeup.  Don't overpower, but glitters and brighter shades can contrast very nicely.

  9. i think to put a glam edge on such a hard look u shud focus on the makeup cuz its the thing people first notice when theyr talking to you or are near enuf to see it, so Urban Decay all the way. they put a lil glam into a usually hard style. good luck:)

  10. blak studded ed hardy cap

  11. YOU DON'T.

    you just DON'T DO THAT.

goths dont HAVE a glamorous edge.

    you're either goth OR glamourous.

    a-doi.

  12. Try the Medieval/Victorian/Edwardian look.

I know many people like that, and they look wonderful.

Though, they are in their 20s and look more mature, which suits them.

Check out Emilie Autumn. Do you mean kind of like her? I wouldn't call her totally "Goth" though. She wears corsets, combat boots, dresses, etc. Try burlesque-goth maybe too?
