How do i become a bellhop?

Question

are there big requirements to becoming a bellhop at a decently big chain hotel? i've got 3 years worth of experiance within the restaurant industry (hosting, bartending, mostly serving though), and i'm hoping this would be good enough for a bellhop job? thanks

Bell hopping is a really interesting profession.  Honestly, just find one at a hotel and ask.  Mid afternoon is best when they are not so busy.  Almost all bell hop positions come about from references.  In fact, bellhops have some of the best Christmas season tips of all service professions out there.

Not much to being a bellhop. I would suggest that you ace your interview as the physical ability is overlooked because it doesn't take much. Knowing someone also helps
