  1. Learn how to look at the things you are drawing.

I recommend the book, "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain" by Betty Edwards.  She will explain why some people can naturally draw and others cannot.  Then she uses techniques based on this to teach you to draw, including teaching you how to see appropriately.  It really works!!!! And you will begin to love drawing as well as gradually develop your own style.  Happy drawing.

  2. Practice, practice, practice.

Take classes, study, ask for help.

    And then some more practice.

  3. This may sound pointless but, copy other art.  It will give you a feel of you exactly to shape lines.  Then start practicing doing originals.  That wasn't the pointless part.  This is the pointless part: fruitz r gooooooood!  And I can give you classes personally at anime-nia.wikispaces.com.  I'm a nationally certified manga art teacher with ADHD.  I also do other art genres as well.

  4. Hi,

I'm going to tell you to do something that I've been procrastinating (shame on me).

Go to museums, take some charcoal/graphite/hard pastels and draw/paint  some statues.

    Kind regards,
