  1. I think it's a fine dream of yours to become an American doctor in Japan.

I'm sure there are some places in Japan that need more medical support.

Just please DON'T listen to Baah, she's just bashing you. I really found what she had to say useless and false.

It's completely fine to appreciate the Japanese culture.

The Japanese do not hate Americans, sure some have their taste but some of them would really, really love to meet Americans!! They're just shy!!

Pursure your doctoring career and when the time comes (it'll be a while!) move to Japan.

But if being a doctor ends up not being your thing, visits to Japan will always be fun!

  2. Why do you want to move to Japan? I'm sick of Americans obsess with Japanese culture. Japan isn't all that great and pretty much everyone hates Americans. Stay in your own country.

And Japan is expensive. It takes years to become a doctor; so if you actually want to do this you'll be in Japan when you're in your late twenties or thirties. And I highly doubt you'll still want to move afterwards.

  3. Don't take doctor as an easy job. As a doctor, you will be responsible for life or death of patients.

You are required to have close communication with your patients. It's not something a person from another country can do.  Most of patients in Japan are Japanese people. But you cannot communicate with them without speaking Japanese.
