  1. start with classes at school then do plays at shcool build up your resume get experience! then get an agent and if you want to be succesful it will take years of hard work slowly climbing the ladder of success but if you get a chance to do somethign big go for it!

for agents and all the info you need go to actinginfo.blogspot.com and talentagents.blogspot.com for the agent one click table of contents then click city nearest you. read everything on the site

answers wont pop up infront of you so look around and click on the words in blue but not the ones that are double underlined!

  2. You sound young, so I'd suggest getting into as many school and community plays as you can. Use these next two years to get as much experience as possible; it will help to build your resume (a list of the shows you've been in, which roles you've played, and the companies you've worked with).

Start taking lessons from a school or instructor with a good reputation! It will help tremendously.

After that, if you're still interested, get a headshot taken (a professional photograph that you can give to casting agents, almost like a business card) and start auditioning for more formal productions.

MAKE SURE YOUR PARENTS SUPPORT YOU! Without their help, it's going to be difficult for you to be successful, especially if you're young. If they're backing you, they can start taking you to agencies, and your agent will help you to find auditions, etc.

Don't forget; act because you love it, not because you want to be famous.

Break a leg and don't give up! Best of luck, girlie. :]

  3. First and foremost, you can NOT make "becoming famous" your primary goal.

The only way to become famous in acting is to be fortunate enough to get cast in a major stage, film, or television project that becomes popular -- and the only way you could get cast in it in the first place is if you are thoroughly prepared.

So, you need to focus solely on developing your skills.  Take classes, read plays, audition, and do a lot of shows.  Constantly strive to [1] be your very best at all times, [2] constantly learn and improve, and [3] be a good colleague [a good reputation is of paramount importance -- no one wants to work with a diva].

If fame eventually comes, fine.  But don't count on it, or plan for it, or even hope for it.  Being a working actor is quite sufficient.  Though my name may be known to some stage aficionados, I'm hardly a household name -- but nonetheless, I paid cash for my house two years ago.  Not too shabby, and proof positive that in the real world, steady employment trumps "star" status any day -- in case you're not aware of this, being a "star" does NOT come with a regular paycheck [other than residuals if you do film work].

  5. Talent, Talent.. Talent Oh did I say Talent and someone famous or a good studio that decides to promote you.. otherwise.. almost impossible..

    Chao.
