You have to work hard at your dreams, you can't just sit around asking. Preform on street corners, boardwalks and everything else. Sign up for venues. Get a YouTube account...start getting some level of fame by covering a bunch of songs then move onto your own original stuff. Get known there, get known in places, get involved in your local "scene". You say rap, right? Get shows, go to shows, GET IN THERE AND LIVE YOUR LIFE! If you like battling, do that! Stop sitting around and go.

Sorry, but you just can't ASK how to be famous in the music world. You have to be REALLY talented, good looking (that's why celebrities are not ugly) and you have to find an agent that's willing to support an unknown person.
