How do i become a modulator/admin on yahoo groups?

The group owner only can confer that privilege on another member. So, if you think you can contribute, contact the group owner. Best wishes.

only the owner can promote a member to be a moderator, and many group owners don't feel they need one.

you'd have to contact the owner, if you don't know who they are the default owner address is at the bottom of the group.

if the owner is MIA, pretty much forget it.

The best way is to become a moderator, unless you are into jumping your own hurdles: then if you like jumping your own hurdles that you set up for yourself, then become an owner.

All you have to do to become an owner of a group, is to create your own group.

In order to become a moderator, the owner of a group has to like you & to know you are loyal to their cause.  If so, it doesn't hurt to let them know what your interests are.

in order to become a moderator, you will need to contact the yahoo groups owner, or another moderator with edit permissions access that can make another person a moderator.
