  1. Check with your local colleges and see if they offer a program like Arkansas State University offers. They offer a CDA online program that allows you to do "most" of your training online. You will have to do "onsite" training as stated before from a previous answer. I can give you the link to the ASU site and you can read it and see if it sounds good, then contact your local state colleges and see if they offer the same convenience.  Good luck!

  2. There are hundreds on online schools that offer a diploma and some an associates in ECE. I'll provide a few links. However, many times, you don't need an education to get a pre-k job. If you have any experience at all with children, you'll normally get the job. Either way, here are the links.

    Best of luck!

  3. Pre-schools in our area (VA) require a person to hold at least an AA in ECE (early childhood education) or a certificate for ECE.  You can begin your AA online with many different institutions but eventually you will have to do some hands on learning in a classroom environment.  You can't really learn classroom management online, it's more of an on the job training situation. You can read about scenarios, such as what to do when there is a power struggle over a toy, or how to do lesson plans, but some of it is hands on learning.

Just as a traditional classroom teacher must do "student teaching" there is some that you must do in the classroom as well.  This has been my experience.  I have attached some links for you to peruse.

    Best of luck to you.
