  1. get sponcer

  2. hey what up.this is pro motocross joshua henry.

to become a pro you need to join the ama.than you need to -win  in some races. you will need to get 100 point in one yr to become pro.when to get the points go to the ama website. and it will tell you what to do from there

  3. Win lots of high profile races!

Start racing at around 4 or 5 years old!  Ridiculous or not Carr!

    Be a very lucky person!

Have loads of money to put into the sport till you make it!

  4. Practice,Practice,Practice. Then hit up a sponsor.

  5. you have to get a certain amount of points in the A class you don't have to start at four that's the stupidest thing I have heard maybe some of the team riders start at four but if you can make it as a pro at least as a "privateer" which their isn't such a thing now you and do good you will probably have some small team offers

  6. Enter club races - win them - if your good

    enough - you'll be spotted !!

  7. I don't mean to put a damper on your ambition and I wish you well but most riders that turn pro have been working at perfecting the ability to ride and race since they were in kindergarten.

You really need to start at the beginning and practice, practice, practice and if you have any natural ability then it is a natural progression in the sport. You have to start winning events and get noticed and once noticed hopefully pick up a sponsor.

Most of the guys who have any chance of making it in the sport started racing around 4 and have been winning races for years.  You don't say how old you are or what experience you have with the sport, but it is a big ask if you have not even begun to race yet.

You would be best to get involved in the sport and then see if it is what you want firstly and then see if you have any talent at it.  Look up on the internet the controlling body of motorsport in the country you are in and also look up what local tracks are in your area and go from there.
