How do i become a property locator?

OK, so by property locator, I take it that you mean you finding property/ land to develop...either that or an 'estate agent'?

If you are interested in locating property, then with the market the way that it is in the UK I would look to the rest of the world for investment opportunities.

At the moment although prices are coming down, mortgage rates are still high and things aren't going to change for a while.

It is just an option, but there are some great property investments out of the UK.  I have been looking at Morocco, and in particular Marrakech.  There are some great opportunities in a city that is full of incredible culture and colours.  Plus, it is only 3 hours by plane.

Other areas that you might want to look at are Brazil and Albania.

Brazil is part of the 'BRIC' (Brazil, Russia, India, China) phenomenon and the country is forecast to become one of the world’s four biggest economies by 2050, so get in now and you could be cashing in on this.  Some of the investment opportunities that I have seen start at £14K and are 30% under the value because they are off plan.  If you can do it, this is the way to go.
