How do i become an air traffic controller

how can i become an air traffic controller in australia. i know that the RAAF has training but i if i did that would i need to have a rank, do fitness, stay in the middle of knowhere being suicidal and not get to make my own decisions.

also, how much would an traffic controller get payed.

In the US, there are a number of colleges & trade schools that offer ATC training. I'm sure that Australia has something similar.
