How do i become an elementary arts teacher in NYC?

There are several steps, Vic....Firstly, get a gun permit!

Go to college. Study art and elementary education.

Pretty much any major college can properly prepare you for this career. It's a pretty basic program.

I have a friend who majored in photography and  elementary education and is currently working as an art teacher. As long as you get the elementary ed and some sort of art degree you'll qualify for the position. Good luck!
