How do i become and actress?

i have wanted to be a actress for a long time but my mum said it's never going to happen. i just want to prove her wrong. can any one tell me how i can become an actress please

Are you sure your doing this for the right reasons? It sounds like you don't really want it. Do it for you, not your mom. Take lessons in dance, acting, and voice. Acting lessons are given, but dance and voice is what will put you above everyone else and in a better position. Start looking for auditions to go to. Talk to your mum. Tell her that you want this. Tell her you want to try it, and if you fail then you fail but you still tried. Start practicing monologues and take lessons. Good luck

I guess it depends on where you live. But you should join a drama club, or something like that. So you can get some experience. Then when you think your ready, start applying for interviews. Start small and then get bigger, if it is meant to happen it Will.
