Question:

How do i become fit and healthy and gain more muscle?

im 14 and have just bought some boxing equipment to keep fit: a heavy boxing bag 3 ft, boxing gloves: 8oz, mitts, hook and jab pads. i think im in good shape: 5 ft, 30kg dont have access to gym go to school, 9.00am-3.30pm, what food shall i eat and need a timetable for a workout regime

  1. if you want to box you need to go to a boxing gym otherwise you will develop bad habits if you train on your own and may even get hurt. for some good information on general fitness and also nutrition go to crossfit.com


  2. really take this answer from me as i was in the same situation(apart frm height and weight!!i was 6" nd 70kg)

    anyway....

    eat lots of chicken, steak, turkey.bassically get some protien into you.u can also get protien shakes if desired(helps build muscle,,,dont worry its natural ingrediant found in chicken fish and so on)do 2 sets of bodyweight excercises every 2 nites ,e.g pull ups chinups pressups situps squats and so on.get some dumbels if you want...this will build up muscle for strenght....

    now go 3mins on d bag non stop(punch wit light weights(increases speed and punch power) and skip for 20 mins.5 mins sets....and run cycle or do watever you want....

    do weights one day and boxin the next so ur week  will look like dis....boxin weights boxin weights and so on.......

    diet now, if u want to do this properly and get results cut out junk food...not completely hav 1 day wit a few sweets if you want(if u cut dem out completely u wont crave them anymore) and eat 5 fruit and veg a day...now ur prob thinkin" aww *** 5 a day"..dnt say dat, do wat i do and take a drink of orange in d mornin, apple juice for lunch(school) veg wit dinner and throw in a kiwi r a banana sumwer aswell!!lol

    anyway dats it, give it a few months and u will be like a robot and addicted to training like dis.always step it up a gear, push yourself lad!!!PUSH YOURSELF!!!......AND TRY 2 DRINK 2L OF WATER EVERYDAY...IMPORTANT WATER!!!spread it out....dnt dwn 2l in one  shot, u will only p**s it out.......take care
