  1. Isn't a wet nurse a woman who breast-feeds someone else's baby?  I didn't know this kind of service was still requested in this day and age.  If a mother cannot, or chooses not to breast-feed,  they normally resort to formula milk.

I'm not sure that you can.  When my son was born and spent ages in intensive care I expressed a lot of milk to keep my supply up and they were not allowed to give it to any of the other babies.  Because of the threat of diseases it all had to be thrown out.  I don't have H.I.V. or Hepatitis or any other disease its just the possibility.

  3. You should contact a milk-bank in your area. There are always women who are unable to breastfeed from one reason or another (cancer, widower being left alone with a baby, etc.) and it is a very good thing to do. Please note though, that they will require medical check up. For example, you can't be a smoker.
