I went to work at this museum last summer and met some really cool people who worked in a different area than i did.

they were mostly aquiantence-ships and i never thought i would see them ever again to form a real friendship.

well, after some time, i've gotten to know two of them.

but only through the internet. ive never really gotten to hang out with them. it's only been passing conversations.

and they're never good. guess im too hung up on seeing them in real life. i guess working with them i think, seems to be the only way i can think of getting to know them.

that seems less and less a possibility.

i guess my only option is trying to get to know them online..

what do you guys think?

  1. I was in the same situation, met some really decent people at work. Well yeah, msn/facebook, whatever you choose, it great in keeping in touch with people. I'd say get to know a bit about them, see what sort of things they're in to, and if they seem like your 'kinda person' comparing to what you're interested in, then when it seems like you're getting on, suggest meeting up and doing something, or arrange to go somewhere, I dunno, like the cinema, and suggest them coming along with you. Don't jump into it too soon though otherwise they may think you're a little creepy? Hope it works out :)
