How do i bemoe a model?

i just want to earn some quick cash..not a full time model, but how specifically can i hook up with people..and not the immodest dressing/pornogrophy type modeling..just for magazines or w/e

first of all, you have to want it. bad.

you apply for an agency near you. usually people find agencies according to wear they live, & go to the website to see how they can apply. usually its by mail, but it depends. are you all? do you have the right body? runway could be for you. if you are just pretty, photo would be for you.

wanna know how the modeling business works?

if you get picked, you go to the agency, & they might just evauluate you (i dont know if every agency does that). Usually, other businesses contact that agency saying they need a model for their ad. then you would possibly get to do that job.

be prepared for..

-critisism

-getting denied

-sudden calls for a job

they do not care about your schedule,

or how you feel.

Go to open casting calls at modeling agency's in your area.

You have  to be over 5'8 (at least) to do runway.

If you want to do print, then you shouldn't be too worried about height.

DO NOT PAY to be a model..they should pay you.

You can have a friend or family member take some head-shots and take them with you to the agency.

Local modeling agency's have open casting calls every week so make sure you look into it.
