  1. Being a paper pack rat, I sympathize.  I use wicker containers because they look nicer than stacked up paper. They also have "pleather" paper trays in sets of 3 that look nice and they are less than 7 bucks at the Big Lots.

  2. Hi, buy yourself one of those accordian files, some of them are labelled already.  They say telephone bills, credit card bills etc.  and some you can label yourself.  Also, get one with dates on it so you know that everyday you look at it and pull papers out for that date and pay what has to be paid on that day.  Also, whatever you have to do that day you can put the file out for that day.  So, you just  need 2 accordian files.  It's simple.  One for filing and one for doing things day by day.

  3. my dad always kept his bills in one of those metalic slot things kinda like a mail box deal, and you can sort them that way to, and get a file cabinate with a key for your social papers

  4. Each day, after opening my mail, I place the bills in order that they need to be paid in a drawer, along with my stamps, return address stickers and check book. Everything together. On top of the desk, I have a wicker divided basket with envelopes, pens, etc.
